Product Information For Zinwave Unitivity 5000 Optical Remote Unit

Unitivity 5000 Optical Remote Unit: For Efficient Wireless Networking

The Remote Unit, which is connected to the Primary or Secondary Hub via fiber (SMF), is typically mounted above ceiling tiles or in out-of-sight locations as close as possible to the service area. It converts the wireless signal from optical to RF (and vice versa) and amplifies it for transmission to or from a mobile device. Like the rest of the system, the remote is a wideband unit capable of supporting all frequencies from 150MHz to 2700MHz in any combination.

Key Features and Specifications:

  • Converts and Boosts Signals
  • Covers Frequencies 150 MHz to 2.7 GHz
  • Up to 20 dBm Output Power
  • Connects to Primary or Secondary Hub
  • Simple Installation, or Unitivity 5000 Systems

The Zinwave Unitivity 5000 Optical Remote Unit connects to the Primary or Secondary Hub using fiber. It converts optical signals to RF, or vice versa, and amplifies them for transmission. Wideband, it handles cellular frequencies 150 to 2700 MHz.

Featuring a maximum output of 20 dBm, the Optical RU offers great coverage. Equipped with two N-Type connectors, it supports one receiving antenna and one transmitting antenna. Multiple RUs are needed to maximize coverage.

Easy to install, Optical RU can be mounted above ceiling tiles or discreetly tucked away from view.
